full of meaning. full of love. full of them.

Funerals, memorials and celebrations of life — led with warmth, dignity and deep care, however and whenever you choose to say goodbye.

Saying goodbye well matters. Not because tradition says so, but because the people left behind need somewhere to put their grief, their gratitude, and everything in between.

When you're trusted to lead a funeral, you're trusted with a person's whole life — and with a room of people at their most raw. It is the greatest privilege of this work, and I don't take a moment of it lightly.

I'll take the time to understand who they really were. Not a script with the name changed, but their story: the way they laughed, what they loved, the moments that made them them. And I'll help you find a way to say goodbye that feels true — whether that's tender, joyful, quietly dignified, or all three in the same afternoon.

What I offer:

Funerals & memorial services
A ceremony held at the time of loss, warm and personal and shaped entirely around the person being remembered. I work alongside your funeral director to take the weight off you, and to create something that feels like them.

A note on direct cremation

More families than ever are choosing direct cremation — a simple, private cremation with no service, often arranged quickly. It's a practical, dignified choice, and a growing one. But it can leave something unfinished: the people who loved that person never quite get their moment to gather and say goodbye.

That moment still matters. And it can happen entirely in your own time.

A memorial or celebration of life, held days, weeks or even months later, gives you space to do it properly — without the rush of those first raw days, and with the freedom to decide exactly who comes, where, and how. A favourite park. A room above a pub. A garden full of the right people. There is no rulebook, and that's rather the point.

If you've arranged a direct cremation and feel the goodbye is still waiting to happen, I would be honoured to help you create it.

How it works

Every ceremony begins with a conversation about the person at the heart of it — who they were, what they loved, and what their people most need this day to hold. I write every word from scratch, guide you gently through the choices, and lead the day itself with the warmth and care it deserves, so you can simply be present with the people around you.

Celebrations of life
Some families want to mark a loss not with sorrow but with story — music, laughter, photographs, the people who knew them best standing up to share a memory. A celebration of life can happen anywhere, any time, and look however feels right.

However and whenever you choose to say goodbye, it deserves to be done with care. If I can help, I'd count it a privilege.
